During the Spring of 2014, I took the Transducer Theory course at Michigan Technological University. In this course, I learned the theory and physics behind sound reproduction, and was provided the opportunity to design, construct, and tune a pair of loudspeakers, which I currently use in my studio as midfield monitors. For those interested, I've included basic specifications and documentation below.

Specifications:

Drivers: Dayton Audio RS 225-8 8" Woofer, Vifa D27TG35-06 1" Silk Dome Tweeter

External Dimensions: 15.5" x 12" x 18" (D x W x H)

Frequency Response: +/- 1.8 dB (40 Hz - 18 kHz)

Crossover: Mini DSP Digital Plate Amplifier, Woofer (4th order @ 1.9 kHz), Tweeter (4th order @ 1.5 kHz)
